SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
FULL RENOVATION
Woodfall is a full-scale residential transformation rooted in refinement - not reinvention for the sake of trend, but a thoughtful evolution of how the home supports its owners today. Originally built in 1979, the space was defined by compartmentalized rooms, dated finishes, and a layout that no longer reflected the rhythm of the clients’ lives.
Now in a quieter chapter, the goal was to create a home that feels intentional, elevated, and effortless to live in. The design allows the home to expand and contract with ease - calm and highly functional for daily living, yet capable of accommodating family gatherings without disruption. Every decision was made to support clarity, longevity, and a more considered way of living.

Integrated appliances for a seamless visual flow

Reworked layout for intuitive daily movement

Durable, low-maintenance surfaces selected for longevity
The kitchen was reimagined as the central anchor of the home - not just a place for cooking, but for daily rituals and connection. The layout was thoughtfully reworked to improve circulation and usability, allowing the space to function seamlessly from morning routines to casual entertaining.
Material selections were guided by both performance and restraint. Surfaces were chosen for durability and ease of maintenance, while still contributing to the overall sense of refinement. Integrated appliances and cohesive finishes allow the kitchen to feel visually quiet, yet highly functional - a balance of utility and understated luxury.

the living room
FULL RENOVATION
The living room was designed as a space of calm and continuity - one that feels open, grounded, and intentionally composed. Architectural elements were simplified to remove visual noise, allowing proportion, light, and materiality to define the experience of the space.
A redesigned fireplace serves as a central focal point, anchoring the room with a sculptural presence. Rather than competing with the architecture, each element was selected to support a cohesive visual language, creating a space that feels both elevated and deeply livable.

Beyond individual rooms, the home was approached as a complete system - one that prioritizes ease, flow, and intuitive use. Circulation between spaces was refined to feel natural and uninterrupted, allowing the home to function effortlessly on a day-to-day basis.
Storage and functionality were integrated with intention, ensuring that everything has a place without disrupting the visual clarity of the home. The result is an environment that feels composed and considered, yet never overdesigned - supporting both quiet daily living and moments of activity with equal ease.
